Create a Bingo Chat Name, then put £10 of cash into bingo tickets within 30 days, and a £10 Bingo Bonus is credited automatically. Accept it in the Bonus Message the next time you load a room or game. The bonus has to be staked once, so £10 of Bingo Bonus goes on tickets before any pending winnings can be withdrawn. It lasts 14 days after you accept it and can’t be used in the Stargazing room. Side-game stakes, bonus funds and free tickets are excluded from the £10.

The Welcome Bonus
The £10 Bingo Bonus is open to new and existing verified online customers who have not created a Bingo Chat name. If you have bet on sport with Betfred for years but never opened the bingo lobby, you still qualify.
The clock starts when you pick the chat name. Buy £10 of tickets with cash in the 30 days after that. This nets you a £10 bingo bonus you can use in nearly any bingo room, with Stargazing being the one exception.
The lobby banner says “No wagering on winnings”. That holds only because the single play-through is set on the bonus itself.
Betfred’s other products run separate welcome offers, and the terms don’t say whether any of them combine with this one.

Winnings from free tickets in all three are paid as Bingo Bonus with 1x wagering. Unspent Rookie and Fred’s balances go after 2 weeks; Bingo Stars balances after 1 week.
Each Fred’s game is also a Superbooks game. Superbooks tickets cost 5p, 10p or 15p, compete for £800 a day, and pay out in cash. A £500 community jackpot splits in half, one half to the winner and the other shared by stake among Superbooks players in that game.
Searching for no deposit free play as an existing customer? The Rookie Room is the only room that costs nothing, and it is limited to accounts that reached the Bingo Lobby in the last 10 days. Betfred doesn’t run a no deposit bingo offer for anyone past that window.
Betfred Bingo Bonus Codes
Betfred doesn’t publish any bingo bonus codes on its promotion pages, and the welcome offer doesn’t require one.
The Bingo FAQ says a code can unlock exclusive rooms or promotions, or add bonus credit. You would type it in the Bingo Lobby under Menu, then “Enter Bonus Code”.

Bonus Back, Referrals and a Daily Spin
Three bingo promotions run on a fixed cycle.
- Bonus Back. Opt in, then stake at least £5 on tickets between Monday 00:00 and Sunday 23:59. You get 5% back as Bingo Bonus, from £0.01 up to £25, credited after the week closes. 5% of £500 is £25, so the cap arrives at around £500 of stakes in a week. The bonus needs 1x wagering and expires in 7 days.
- Refer a Friend. £15 Bingo Bonus for each friend, at 2x, so £30 of bonus goes on tickets before winnings are released. You must have staked £5 on tickets yourself. Your friend has to deposit and stake £5 or more on bingo within 14 days of registering. Credit comes within 48 hours and lasts 7 days.
- Spin & Win. £2 of cash on tickets buys one spin a day. Every spin pays cash, from £0.20 to £100. The published weightings put 20p at 40.94% and 50p at 37.01%, while £100 comes up 0.01% of the time.
Rooms, Sessions and Network Games
Betfred’s bingo T&Cs put it plainly. “Our Bingo Rooms are part of the Virtue Fusion Network and the jackpots/prize pools may be linked with other sites on this network.”
There are more than 20 rooms across 90-, 75-, and 36-ball. Giddy Up Bingo is marketed as an exclusive horse-racing room. Cash Cubes plays 36 ball from 10p. Deal or No Deal comes in 90- and 75-ball versions.
The Betfred Bunker hosts Bingo Linx games daily, 00:00 to 22:30, at 2p, 5p and 10p. Two monthly network nights also run there, Live Bingo Bargains at 2p on the third Friday (£16,000) and 5p Live Bingo on the second Friday (£20,000), both 8pm to 10pm.
Monthly Madness is a single big game. The 25 September 2026 edition is £100,000 at 9pm on 10p tickets, up to 100 tickets each, with 30 free.
Super Sessions sells packages rather than single tickets. For the £10K Super Session on Saturdays in October 2026, 8pm to 9pm, 10 games rise from a £400 pool in game 1 to £2,000 in game 10. Remember, these are time-limited and subject to change.

The cheapest ticket we found was 2p. One play’s bingo winnings are capped at £250,000, progressive jackpots aside.

Betfred Bingo App
Betfred doesn’t have an exclusive bingo app, but you can download their sports betting app, which also includes a bingo lobby. The app is available to download on iOS and Android.
On iPhone, it is Betfred Sports, Casino & Games, sold by Done Brothers (Cash Betting) Ltd and rated 4.6 from 68,367 ratings. The Android version has the same name, comes from Betfred Technology Ltd, and rates 4.6 from 16,773.
The welcome terms warn that the iOS app may not carry every eligible game.
Deposits and Withdrawal Times
Betfred lists five payment methods:

The contact page at betfred.com/help/contact-us offers live chat only. FredBot answers first and hands you to an agent when it can’t help. The help pages describe support as 24/7, but list no phone number or email address.
Who Holds the Licence?
Petfre (Gibraltar) Limited, trading as Betfred, holds Gambling Commission account 39544. Remote licence 039544-R-319290-010 is active and covers Bingo, Casino, General Betting (Real and Virtual Event) and Pool Betting, all from 1 November 2014. Outside Britain, the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner regulates the website, under Gaming RG No. 036 and Betting RGL No. 038.

Review Verdict
Betfred is a big name, and the bingo is run with more care than most sportsbook add-ons. The £10 welcome needs one play-through and no code. Free bingo is deep, from the Rookie Room at nothing to Bingo Stars for £5 of weekly play, with the winnings paid as bonus at 1x. Card payouts usually clear inside four hours.
What holds it back is the cashier and the contact options. There are no e-wallets, and nobody answers a phone or an email, only a chat window. The licence has also picked up two regulatory actions since May 2025. It scores 4.0.
