Rio Bingo Wisbech is located right in the centre of town on Blackfriars Road, set just behind the main shops and across from a variety of cafes and restaurants. Formerly known as Winners Bingo, this Art Deco venue is housed in the historic Empire Theatre and has become a favourite spot among locals, earning a reputation as one of the highest-rated bingo clubs in the UK.
Though more compact than the big-name chain venues, it still offers impressive prize funds, with house prizes often exceeding £100 and linked games giving players the chance to play for jackpots of up to £50,000.
There’s a lively bar that’s popular with regulars and serves a range of satisfying food. Early arrivals for the afternoon sessions can also enjoy complimentary tea and coffee, adding an extra welcome for those coming in before midday.

Winners Bingo Wisbech is not open all day, every day like many bingo halls, and this is a good thing as it means the club is busier when it is open.
Opening hours are 5pm to 10pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the club opens in two sessions: from 11am to 3:30pm (10:30am start on Saturday) and again in the evening from 5pm to 10pm.
Prices
Ticket prices are kept nice and low at Rio Wisbech, with afternoon books starting from just 25p. Daytime sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday begin with a free cashpot, followed by a two-page early at 25p a book and a main session priced at £1.75 per book. If you want a bit more to play for, you can add side games such as the Big Link at 30p a ticket, Rainbow at £1 and the Mini Link, National Game and Fun Flyer at £2 each.
In the evenings there is again a free cashpot, with early books at 50p each. Main session prices at 7.30pm change with the day of the week; £1.75 on Mondays, £2.00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and £2.25 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Extra games are available in the evening too, including the 2 Page Link at 50p, plus Rainbow, Golden Chance, Mini Link, the National Game and the Fun Flyer are £1-£2 a ticket.
