Mecca Bingo Scarborough is found in the main town part of this seaside destination just a few hundred metres from the seafront and beach. Houses in what was originally a cinema, the building dates back to 11th March 1929 when it was then known as the Capitol Theatre.

From historic beginnings to a modern day bingo hall and Mecca Scarborough is certainly that – with a huge capacity for players (over 1,000) and some excellent facilities it is easy to see why the venue has retained its popularity over the years.

There is no on-site parking but you will find some local street parking along with plenty of pay and display car parks. For those travelling by bus or train, things are a little easier with multiple options open to them. Scarborough Train Station is just a 2-3 minute walk from the club and buses stopping on Aberdeen Walk or Westborough will get you closest to the action and even closer than the train station. Bus numbers 3, 3A, 5, 12 and 13 all stop at the former with the latter being serviced by bus routes 7, 12 and 17.

The food and drink available at the on-site diner and bar are very good and there are often deals to be had on the food and promotions on the drinks too.

There is an arcade zone to keep you busy between games and there is also full disabled access for those who need it and a hearing loop for the hard of hearing.

Opening Times

Mecca Bingo is open from 9.45 am on Saturday, 10.45 am on Monday, 11 am Tuesday to Friday and from midday on Sunday. The venue closes at 10.30 pm every evening.

Breakfast bingo is offered at 11 am on Monday and 10.10 am on Saturday. The rest of the week bingo gets underway at 12pm in the afternoons (1pm) on Sunday and at 6.20pm in the evenings.

Prices

The price of games at Mecca Bingo Scarborough varies based on the type of game, the day you play and the time you play. Starting at just £2, there is some excellent value to be had each and every day. Expect to pay more for main session games with the most expensive being the Friday and Sunday evening main sessions (7 pm) at £21.
