Friendly staff, a welcoming ambience, three daily sessions of bingo and more await players at Merkur Bingo Lowestoft. The 600+ seater venue is split across two levels, with the upstairs home to the ‘Noisy Room’ where you can chat, listen to music and watch live TV as you play. There are also slot machines aplenty, the bulk of which can be found in the arcade as you enter plus there are a further 14 machines upstairs.
Hot food is cooked to order between 11.30 am and 1.30 pm and 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm at the canteen, with favourites including fish and chips, steak & ale pie, curry, burgers, jacket potatoes and ham, egg & chips all available for excellent prices. You can also pick up sharing platters or enjoy lighter bites such as sandwiches, crisps and chocolate bars. Each floor has a bar too. If you are playing on the tablets, you can place an order and it will be brought over to your table when it is ready!
The club is located in the heart of the town and is easy to access via public transport with buses stopping at Waveney Chambers just around the corner and the train station also within easy walking distance, just 0.2 miles away. If you drive, there is no parking on-site, but you can use the small car park behind the club after 6 pm for the evening sessions. If you want to drive and attend the earlier sessions, you are best off parking at the train station, Battery Green or the Britten Centre and then walking the short distance to the club.

Merkur Lowestoft is open from 10am 7 days a week. The club closes at 10 pm Monday to Thursday and at 11 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The action gets underway in the mornings at 11 am, with the afternoon mains playing at 1.30 pm and the evening mains starting at 7.30 pm. Additional sessions include the Cashpot, Early, National and Late.
Prices
The morning bingo session is available free of charge with optional extras such as the Cashpot and Silver Quickie costing £1 each.
The majority of the afternoon and paper main events are £13.50, however, the price increases to £17.50 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Prices for the electronic games vary depending on how many tickets you wish to buy and the day of the week. Typically, sessions start from £10 for 12, with additional options for 24, 60, 108, 180 and 210 main sessions.
