Loony Bingo Review

The short version

Loony Bingo’s code is WELCOME30. A new player’s first deposit has a £10 minimum. Loony then credits a 300% bingo bonus, which can’t go higher than £30. Wagering is 4x, on bingo tickets, and the bonus lapses 5 days after it’s given.

Checked against loonybingo.com

Loony Bingo sells itself as the wackiest site on Broadway’s Dragonfish network. Look closer and parts of it are switched off. Its homepage says the casino games aren’t available, and the app its mobile page describes can’t be found in either store.

This short review covers the code, the login, what’s actually open and what’s missing.

Loony Bingo Login

When you head on over to the loonybingo.com website and click the Join button you will be transported to the registration page where you can get started signing up. Returning players use LOGIN, next to it, with a username or email and a password.

A login that fails for no obvious reason may be a break you set yourself. Loony’s Take A Break runs for 1 day, 2 days, 1 week, 4 weeks or 6 weeks, and the account stays shut until it ends. It then reopens by itself. Bingo tickets you pre-bought before the break are still honoured.

A self-exclusion or a GAMSTOP registration also blocks sign-in. Loony is part of GamProtect too, so an account can be closed if a player has told another participating operator they’re at high risk of harm.

For anything else, contact support by live chat or at support@Helpbingo.com.

Loony Bingo Promo Code for a First Deposit

The homepage banner puts it plainly. Deposit £10, get £30 of bingo bonus, code WELCOME30.

Only newly registered players qualify, and only on their first deposit. Make it from the Offers tab using that tab’s Deposit button, and don’t expect a bigger bonus for a bigger payment. The match is 300%, and £30 is the limit.

That £30 can be spent on bingo tickets alone, after your deposited cash has gone. It needs 4x wagering, which works out at £120 in tickets, inside the 5 days after it’s credited.

A withdrawal cancels any bonus left. So does a 5-day stretch with no logins.

What’s Switched Off Right Now

A line at the bottom of Loony’s homepage reads “Casino games are currently not available.” Roulette, blackjack and baccarat are still described higher up the same page, so ignore that paragraph for now.

Two header links don’t go where they say either. For logged-out visitors, Slot Games loops back to the homepage and Bingo Games returns a 404.

Slots and Slingo are still on the homepage shelf. Kiss Me Clover Jackpot, Tiki Beats Jackpot and Slingo Fire Ice are among them. Loony’s text also mentions progressive jackpot bingo in the 75 and 90 ball formats.

The Missing App

Loony’s mobile page says there’s a free Loony app for iPhone and iPad in the App Store. We searched the GB App Store and found no Loony listing. Broadway’s Google Play page has 19 apps, and Loony isn’t one of them.

So play in the phone’s browser. Loony’s help centre lists iOS and Android phones and tablets as compatible, along with Windows and Mac computers.

Paying and Getting Paid

£10 is Loony’s minimum both ways, according to its terms. PayPal charges 10p each time. The alternatives are Apple Pay, or debit cards on the Visa and Mastercard schemes.

After you ask for a withdrawal, Loony’s own processing takes 2 business days. PayPal then needs up to another 3 business days. Payouts to Apple Pay, or to a debit card, can take as many as 5 more.

Loony Bingo Sister Sites

Loony’s lobby, cashier and WELCOME30 terms are shared with Lippy Bingo, which has our fuller review of this group, and with Polo Bingo, Pick Me Up and Glitter.

On the same licence, Moon Bingo and Ted Bingo do have apps. Bucky Bingo is another Broadway site. See our Dragonfish sites page for the rest.

Plus Points and Drawbacks

What we liked3

  • £30 of bonus for a £10 deposit
  • Take A Break lengths of 1 day up to 6 weeks
  • Pre-bought tickets honoured during a break

What we didn't4

  • Casino games offline
  • No app, although the site says there is one
  • Two header links go nowhere for logged-out visitors
  • 4x wagering within 5 days

Review Verdict

We give Loony Bingo 2.8 out of 5. WELCOME30 is fair value on a £10 deposit, and the Take A Break options are clearly explained.

The rest feels neglected. The casino section is offline, two header links lead nowhere and the promised iPhone app isn't in the store. Lippy runs the same offer with more to show for it.
