Situated on North Street in Exeter City Centre, Mecca Bingo Exeter is a busy and bustling place that is popular with the locals and the odd tourists too. Being so centrally located, it is advisable to travel via public transport or park at one of the nearby car parks rather than hoping to nab a spot in the extremely limited on-site car parking. Luckily, public transport is good and plentiful, with South Street or Fore Street providing the nearest bus stops with a number of routes accessing the area, including 76, 173, 360, 976 and more.

Mecca Exeter has all the facilities you would expect from a national chain bingo hall such as this, including a restaurant and bar with plenty on offer. There is a small arcade area, and you will find the usual hearing loops and disabled access, which has been improved in the venue’s new guise.

There is plenty of history behind Mecca Exeter, as the hall itself sits in an old cinema (see picture below) known as the Caumont Palace. The inside of the venue still retains some of the old features and charm that show the venue’s roots, but is still modern enough to satisfy its discerning guests.

Opening Times

Mecca Exeter is open from 10:45am to midnight most of the week although on Saturday they open an hour earlier at 9:45am.

There are three bingo sessions per day with the morning session starting at 11am during the week, 10:15am Saturday and 11:10am on Sunday. The afternoon sessions start at 12pm and consist of 3-18 games. The evening games commence at 6.20pm with the main event starting at 7pm.

Prices

Prices at Mecca Bingo Exeter start from just £1 and go up to £18, with the most expensive games taking place at 7pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. The majority of games are priced between £1 and £13.
