Gala Swindon is located in Greenbridge Retail Park, which is home to some huge retail names and one of the most impressive leisure complexes in the area. Home to the massive Empire Cinema and IMAX, Frankie and Benny’s, McDonald’s, and the Nuffield Health and Wellness gym, there is plenty going on in this part of Wiltshire.

There is ample parking space, although it can get busy at peak times. If you find yourself needing a change of scenery, or perhaps you win big and want to splash your cash, then a little bit of retail therapy is right on the doorstep for you – with Argos, Boots, Matalan, Currys and a lot more besides the right on the retail park.

If you are driving, the 700-space car park is usually sufficient. However, for those travelling by bus, the number 23 route stops at the nearby bus station, and it is then just a short walk to the bingo hall doors from there.

There is plenty to do in Gala Swindon, and there are games galore all day and literally into the early hours of the morning. You will find a great selection of arcade games and slot machines, and some people go just for that with their free membership.

If you need a bite to eat but don’t want to venture too far or pay the higher prices of other establishments, you will find good quality, reasonably priced food in the diner on-site at Gala. There is also a well-stocked bar serving hot and cold drinks.

The purpose-built site caters well to those with disabilities, and there is also a hearing loop for those who are hearing impaired.

Opening Times

Gala Swindon has some of the widest-ranging opening times in the UK for a bingo hall. It is open until 2am three nights of the week and at 9.45am every day except Sunday, so you could literally do everything but sleep there.

The opening hours are Monday to Thursday 9.45am to 1am, Friday and Saturday 9.45am – 2am, Sunday 11am to 2am.

Main stage bingo starts at 10.15am each day for the morning sessions with most afternoon sessions starting at 12.25pm and evening sessions usually starting at 6.45pm.

Prices

The prices at Gala Swindon are pretty competitive and range across the week from £1 up to £8. You will find all of their prices on the new look website here. Sunday evening is when the big money is offered with the chance to win 3 x £1,000 and a £2,000 prize for just a £8 entry.

There are also electronic tickets on offer, which on a Sunday will cost you anything from £16 for 15 tickets (saving you £4) up to £88 for 96 tickets (saving you £40). For the rest of the week, electronic tickets will be less expensive.
